The municipality Benahavis is located on the mountainside between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda. Due to being the richest municipality of the province Malaga, and offering low taxes, this is a very popular residential area. There are many new developments in this area and it is just a 7 minute drive away from the beach.

The village of Benahavis is characterised as a picturesque Andalusian village with a strong foreign community. This charming town is surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve and is known for its peace and quiet.
